Hillary Belk, CADC


Hillary has a background in management and supervision of staff across many of her roles.  She has worked with sober livings both on and off-site, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) through a tenure with Addiction Professionals of North Carolina (APNC), where she was instrumental in developing trainings and education to address gaps in service delivery across law enforcement, Faith-Based communities, served on various coalitions and provided input for how to connect with general public around the realities of Substance Use Disorder. Hillary was instrumental in facilitating cross-system collaboration and sustained growing partnerships within the community. 

Hillary is an active member of the recovery community and is a national recovery advocate with a specialty focus on helping college students. While they access and build their own recovery capital and achieve balance as they navigate life as students, moving into the workforce and pressures of these transitions. 

Her passions include working with groups and aligning with individuals to meet them where they are and walk next to them as they move through life incorporating new tools and coping strategies through the many life transitions they experience. 

Hillary is a native of Charlotte, N.C. and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Hobbies include creative arts, outdoor activities, music, and spending time with friends and family.  


 

Kristine Nutt, LCSW

Kristine Nutt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Addictions Specialist.   She holds an MSW from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and a B.A. in Sociology from UNC-Asheville.   

Kristine began her career as the Director of a Day Reporting Center under the department of corrections in North Carolina, where she developed and implemented treatment programs for individuals affected by substance use, mental health, domestic violence, and other compulsive behaviors. 

 

 She was a member of a National Disaster Response Team for FEMA, as part of a pilot project to provide therapeutic services to individuals experiencing substance use and mental health issues following natural disasters.  

Kristine has years of experience working with individuals and organizations in various leadership roles and as a consultant to develop programs, work with leadership, serve as a clinical advisor, trainer, and has also presented on various topics at state, local, and national events.  

Kristine has worked for some of the most highly respected treatment programs in the country and loves working with the individual and their family to find resources that support their needs.   

She grew up in Western N.C, loves the outdoors, and is an avid hiker and dog rescuer.
